The second main area is in pre and post retirement planning. He can provide you with tax efficient ways to save towards retirement and also tax efficient ways of accessing your income in retirement. As a specialist adviser he can look at options and possibilities that a general IFA would not consider. As such he also deals with a large range of other IFA firms in Scotland dealing with their clients.

The final main area is as a Divorce IFA specialist. Dealing with your family law solicitor he can help on the financial aspects of separation, including one of the few IFA’s who work in the collaborative law for IFA’s.
